MONDAY MUSINGS : WALLPAPER

Happy Monday loves!
Seriously, where did the weekend go? I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, mine was filled with fun, and I cannot wait to share with you some snapshots of the weekend!

Lately I've been dying over wallpaper. Not the typical loud, obnoxious, straight-from-the-seventies wallpaper, but the swanky and sleek modern wallpaper thats all over magazines with the likes of Elle Decor and House Beautiful. And if you're like me and cannot get enough, you can even have hand-painted wallpaper made for you shipped from Paris and England. How amazing is that?
Here are a few wallpapered looks I'm loving, and can I just say that wallpaper on the ceiling is bananas! I love it.

HAPPY WEEKEND!


Happy Friday! I'm so thankful another work week is behind me!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, I'll be out and about DC all weekend for a dear friend's Bachlorette party. I'm excited to visit a winery, and grab some brunch!
I'll be updating you of my weekend on Monday, but if you want to get a sneak peek, I'm sure I'll be instagramming the whole thing! Have a very happy weekend loves!

When I first found her blog, I was drawn by the name, Pink Elephant. Of course, the fact that I have been on an elephant craze lately might have factored in my obsession with this blog. I love elephants for several reasons: They are so cute! Just sweet, big and loving. They are also so strong. Something about being that strong and undefeatable, yet so sweet speaks to me. Elephants also make the best decorating pieces, and statement pieces in clothing and accessorizing.I compiled some of my favorite ways to wear and decorate with the large mammal.
Where's the elephant you ask..look closer. It's the coffee table. This is me melting...
Elephant tea pot! I'd drink a ton of tea..get it? okay....

I think Emily would like this one..a pink elephant ring!

And doesn't it just look lovely on?

If I find this wallpaper, I feel for my husband. He's going to be seeing elephants on the ceiling.
